School staff use our guides to make real decisions about students and evidence. These are the rules every page and PDF follows.

Report a correction

Official sources first

NCCD facts come from the official NCCD website (nccd.edu.au) and the Disability Standards for Education 2005. Privacy facts come from the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner and the legislation. We link to the source rather than reproducing licensed material.

Every fact is checked and dated

Each guide and PDF shows when it was last checked. When the official guidance changes, we update the page and the date.

How we use AI

We may use AI tools to help draft or tidy text. A person checks every statement against the named source before it is published, and AI never decides what we claim.

Comparisons are fair and disclosed

Our comparison pages say that Descant publishes them, use each provider’s own public pages as the source, ask every tool the same questions, and say “not stated” rather than guess.

Our guides explain how things generally work. Always follow the official NCCD guidance, your sector and your school’s own policies.
